These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FinA website, API, emails, and related applications (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Service Description (v0 - Personalized News Digest)
The v0 release provides a premium, weekly impact-rated email digest that maps publicly available market headlines to the tickers you self-declare. No trade execution, portfolio automation, or personalized investment recommendations are provided in this version.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at all times and to keep your login credentials secure.
3. Subscription & Billing
The Service is offered on a paid-in-advance, auto-renewing basis (monthly or yearly). Prices include VAT where applicable. You may cancel at any time; access remains until the current billing cycle ends. A 30-day unconditional refund applies to new subscriptions.
4. No Investment Advice
FinA is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary. All information is general and educational. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and should consult a qualified professional before acting.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service and all associated content are owned by FinA or its licensors and are protected by U.S., EU, and international laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
6. User Content & License
You retain all rights to portfolio inputs or other content you provide but grant FinA a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service.
7. Third-Party Data & Links
News headlines and market data come from third parties believed to be reliable. FinA does not guarantee accuracy or completeness and disclaims liability for errors or omissions.
8. Warranty Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FinA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflicts principles, and by applicable EU consumer protection laws if you reside in the European Economic Area. All disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, unless mandatory local consumer-forum rights apply.
10. Changes
Material changes will be posted 30 days before taking effect (email or in-app). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
